How

RULES:
1. The Walk & Ride Challenge will run from September 7 - September 27, 2009.
2. Participants should only log steps that have been taken Monday - Friday of each week. Weekends will not count. Participants will have until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday to log their steps from the previous week.
3. Companies that participate in Montgomery County's Super Fare Share (SFS) program and those that have met with BTS staff to discuss the program will receive a discounted registration rate for their team(s).
4. Companies that have not yet registered with Montgomery County's Super Fare Share program, but would like to receive the discounted registration rate for their team(s) must meet with BTS staff by August 28, 2009. Companies are not required to sign up for the program to receive the discount registration rate.
5. All team members must be employed by a company or organization located in downtown Bethesda.
6. Teams may consist of a maximum of five (5) members.
7. Teams may consist of individuals from a single company or you can pair up with friends who work at other firms, but all team members must work in downtown Bethesda.
8. The winning team will be determined by averaging the total number of steps taken by the team.
9. Each week, participants who walk more than 50,000 steps will be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
10. The grand prize winning team will be announced at the annual Taste of Bethesda on October 3, 2009.
11. Prizes are subject to change without notice.
12. Winners agree to allow BTS and BUP to use their photograph to promote alternative forms of transportation and future events.
