| Capital Crescent Trail |
| |
The Capital Crescent Trail (CCT), a car-free trail, serves downtown Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Spring and Washington, DC. This popular hiker-biker trail is about 11-miles long and is used by tens of thousands of people each week. The Trail is used for both recreational and commuting purposes, connecting residential, commercial and employment centers.
If you haven't already tried it, ride the CCT as part of your commute to work – it's more convenient than you think! Most of the Trail passes through parks and other wooded areas. It has 30 great points of interest, including four historic bridges, two historic tunnels, and provides beautiful vistas over the Potomac. It even takes you within a few blocks of the Bethesda Metro station as well as other top Bethesda destinations.
For more information, contact Tom Robertson at TRobertson@bethesda.org or 301-656-0868 x30.
